The Court's Payment Link Changes Saturday. The Old One Stops Working.

If you have a Magnolia citation to pay, where you pay it depends on what day you do it. The city moves to a new system tomorrow.
Magnolia Municipal Court is switching payment systems on Saturday. Starting August 1, 2026, eligible citations get paid at a new address, and there is a phone line that will take the payment without putting you through to a person. The city announced the change on July 27.
The new online payment page is at municipalonlinepayments.com/magnoliatx/court/search. The new phone number is (866) 638-4105, running what the city calls an IVR system. That is the automated menu that walks you through it by keypad.
The part worth circling: the two systems do not overlap. The city's notice is direct about it. The new system will not be available until August 1, and until July 31, residents are told to keep using the current site at TrafficPayment.com. Today is that last day. Tomorrow the old link is done and the new one starts.
So the practical version. Paying today, use the old site. Paying tomorrow or after, use the new page or the phone number. If you go to the wrong one you are not in trouble, you are just at a page that cannot help you, which is a frustrating way to spend a Saturday morning.
Court payment deadlines do not move for a software change. If you have a date on a citation, that date still stands. Anyone unsure whether a citation is eligible to be paid online at all, or who is close to a deadline this weekend, should call the court rather than guess at a web form.
The city describes the switch as a move to something more convenient to use. Whether it lands that way is something residents will find out over the next few weeks. If the new system gives you trouble, we would like to know.
