The Fourth at Unity Park: Food Trucks, Music, and Fireworks at Nine

By The Magnolia Standard · June 19, 2026

We promised the details once the city set them. Here they are. Mark your Friday.

Magnolia's Independence Day tradition is Unity Park, and this year it lands on Friday, July 3. The City of Magnolia's celebration runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the park, 19450 Unity Park Drive, and the fireworks go up at 9 to close the night. It's free, and it's open to every age.

The hours before the fireworks are the point as much as the show itself. The city sets up food trucks, inflatables and face painting for the kids, and live music. It's the kind of evening where you get there with daylight to spare, let the kids burn off the heat on the inflatables, eat something off a truck, and settle onto your blanket before the first shell goes up.

A few practical notes. This is a regional draw, not just a Magnolia one, so the crowd comes from well past the city limits and parking fills early. Bring chairs or a blanket, water, and bug spray, and give yourself extra time getting in and back out. Early July in Montgomery County is hot and humid into the evening, so plan for it.

The Fourth itself falls on Saturday this year, but the city's show is the Friday night. If you want one good night of fireworks without a drive to Houston or The Woodlands, this is the one to claim a patch of grass for.
